Professors

Trinacria does not have a single Pokémon professor, as happens in other regions: here researchers believe in peer review and collaboration... and it is thanks to this that some sensational discoveries have been made! 
You can read the results of the combined efforts of all the professors in the public libraries, which you will find in almost every city. 
Thanks to its fertile academic soil, Trinacria often hosts professors who come from other regions, and who have come here to collaborate with the most eminent Pokémon experts. 
Here are some of the professors you will meet during your adventure:

 


Augustine Platane

A professor from the Kalos region, specialized in evolution and mega evolution. For some strange reason, he can often be found in the company of Team Flare. 
He has a good appearance, perhaps the most well-groomed of the Pokémon professors, but he just can't match the colors of the clothes he wears. Could he be colorblind? He is kind, he likes to share what he has, cuddle his Pokémon, friendly battles and... flirting. 
He only speaks Kalosian, but it seems that this does not bother the girls who are always around him.


*Note: the names of each professor from other regions are the same that the localization/translation of Pokémon has used in the corresponding region... for example, coming from Kalos, which represents France, the name of the professor of the region will be the French one, that is Professor Platane, and not Professor Sycamore as in the English version.
